A random selection of brown, mackinaw and rainbows will be tagged with a hot pink ID, noting 3 Lakes tournament and tag numbers 62-74 only for the 2020 contest! If you catch one of these tagged fish, the winner will receive $1000 in cash. All fish will be released into Lake Granby. Tagged fish are all less than 19 inches in length.
Eligibility: The angler catching a tagged fish MUST be registered and have a PAID entry in the contest, MUST have a colorado fishing license, and the fish MUST be caught during the tournament: Jan. 24, Jan. 25, or Jan. 26.
Rules: All tagged fish must be caught in accordance with all state and local laws, codes, rules and regulations. Anglers are also required to obey all of the rules and regulations of the tournament or they will be disqualified. Tagged fish must be brought to the weigh station for verification of the tag immediately after the catch. All winners may be chosen for a polygraph test. Fishing begins 30 minutes before sunrise and ends at 4:30pm on Friday and Saturday and 2pm on Sunday.
Publicity Release: Each angler who catches a tagged fish grants the Chamber of Commerce the rights to use their name, information, and photographs, without compensation, in any and all media without limitation for advertising and promotional purposes.
General Prize Conditions: Prize winners shall be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes associated with their prize. There is no limit on number of tagged fish an angler can catch. Prize money will be awarded each evening at the awards ceremony at River Run RV Resort in Granby. Winner need not be present.
