Granby’s yearly summertime rodeo takes place at the Flying Heels Arena, south of town. A great event for the entire family, there’s always bull riding, roping, barrel racing, games for the kids, and more. Kids can even sign up to compete in mutton busting!
The Junior Rodeo starts in the afternoon, followed by the Open Rodeo in the evenings. Concessions are available so bring your appetite and help the Granby Rotary raise funds for local community programs.
And don’t miss a 4th of July tradition here in Granby… fireworks! Every year, Flying Heels Rodeo sets off an impressive display after the last bull bucks on July 4th.
Just down the road from Granby in the nearby town of Fraser, check out the High Country Stampede Rodeo. Get ready for exciting rodeo entertainment for families and groups including bull riding, clown acts, mutton busting, barrel racing, trick riding, roping, and much more. Each rodeo night has a theme, like Old West or Family Fun. They provide covered stands, so the rodeo happens rain or shine!
